Bristol Spa is a three-floor urban wellness retreat tucked inside the legendary Hotel Bristol in the very heart of Oslo — a destination that fuses the building’s century-old grandeur with a boldly contemporary spa philosophy. Opened in December 2025, the spa draws inspiration from Moorish architecture, filling its halls with handmade chandeliers, gold-plated mirrors, arched niches, and hand-laid colourful tiles that transport guests far beyond the Norwegian capital without ever leaving the city.
The Spa Experience
The wellness journey unfolds across three distinct levels. The active floor houses a traditional Finnish sauna, an aufguss ritual space (where a sauna master leads fragrant steam ceremonies), a snow room, and contrasting hot and cold plunge pools. On the next level, guests drift between a large Moorish-inspired relaxation pool (5.9 × 4 metres), an infrared sauna, a rhassoul clay-treatment room, a rainwalk shower with natural stone foot paths, and mask-buffet stations where skin-matched peels and moisturising treatments can be self-applied.
Treatments
The uppermost floor contains five treatment rooms staffed by skilled therapists offering everything from classic deep-tissue massage to the spa’s own signature rituals. Drink service is available poolside, and the hotel’s historic bar and restaurant are only steps away for post-spa dining.
Practical Information
Hotel guests access the spa directly from their room via a third-floor connection. A street-level entrance at Sehesteds plass welcomes day visitors. The spa is strictly adults-only (18+). Swimwear is required throughout — no separate rental protocol needed. Sessions run daily from 10:00 to 22:00, and advance booking for treatments is recommended. Prices start from NOK 795 for hotel guests and NOK 895 for external visitors (entry only; treatments are additional).
