New sauna business in Melhus: Nordisk Sauna DA

The company Nordisk Sauna DA has been registered in the Norwegian Business Register with the address Innleggsvegen 16B in Melhus municipality. The registration date is 22 August 2025, while the founding date is 13 August 2025. According to the company’s own stated purpose, it will “rent out sauna and badstue for private and commercial use”. The industry code is “renting and leasing of other household goods and personal use goods”.
What the register says
The organisational form is an ansvarlig selskap med delt ansvar (DA), a general partnership with shared liability. This means the partners are personally and jointly liable for the company’s obligations, unlike a limited liability company where liability is limited to the contributed capital. The company is not registered in the Volunteer Register and is not VAT registered. No number of employees, website, or other contact channels are listed in the register. The company is not in bankruptcy or winding-up proceedings.
The sauna offering in the area
In our own directory of saunas, there are currently no registered offerings in Melhus municipality. No saunas have been registered in the town previously either. In the Mid-Norway region, however, 52 saunas are registered in our directory, and 599 nationwide. For Melhus, this means it is the first operator we have registered in the municipality.
What we do not know yet
The register information says nothing about when a potential sauna might open, where it would be located, what prices would apply, or how the rental would be organised in practice. It also does not state whether the company has a physical sauna in place today, or whether this is only a registration of a company with plans for rental. We have not been able to find a website or other public channels for the company.
