New sauna business in Kviteseid: Sauna Haraldsen

Its address is Garverivegen 2A in Kviteseid municipality. The industry code is “Activities in day spas, saunas and steam baths”. The stated purpose reads: “Sauna. Flight assignments for the Armed Forces.”
The registration concerns a business entity. It does not mean that a sauna has been built, opened, or has an opening date.
What the register says
Sauna Haraldsen is registered as a sole proprietorship. This means that one person is behind the business, and that the owner is personally liable for its obligations. The business is not registered in the Register of Voluntary Organisations, and no VAT registration is recorded. No number of employees, website or founding date is provided. The business is not being wound up and is not bankrupt.
The stated purpose mentions two different activities: sauna and flight assignments for the Armed Forces. How these may be connected is not evident from the register.
The sauna offering in the area
In our own directory, one sauna is already registered in Kviteseid municipality, and none in the town of Kviteseid. The one is Morgedal Hotell. For the Eastern Norway region as a whole, 174 saunas are registered, and the most common types in the area are spa and indoor. Nationally, the directory contains 599 saunas. Kviteseid thus has a very limited registered offering beforehand.
What we do not know yet
The register information says nothing about when a possible sauna will open, where it will be located, what prices will apply, or what the offering will otherwise consist of. It is also not clear whether the business is operating today, or how the sauna activity relates to the flight assignments for the Armed Forces.
