The company states its purpose as «operation of sauna and rental of leisure equipment, courses, events, as well as related services and trade». What the register says
The company is organised as a limited liability company (AS), which entails commercial operation with limited liability for its owners. It is not registered in the Volunteer Register, nor is it VAT-registered. According to the register, the company was founded on 24 April 2026, while registration in the Business Register took place on 12 May of the same year. No number of employees, website or other operational details are provided.
The sauna offering in the area
According to our own directory, there are already 7 saunas in Ålesund city and 8 in the municipality. In Western Norway, 224 saunas are registered, and the most common types in the area are indoor (4), outdoor (2) and spa (2). Among the existing offerings in the city are Brosundet, Kvile Badstu, Scandic Parken Ålesund and Sundet Gym & Wellness. The new company will therefore enter a market where several actors are already present.

The register information says nothing about when a potential sauna will open, where it will be located, what prices will apply or what the offering will otherwise consist of. It is also not known whether the company plans a physical sauna or only rental and events. We have not been able to find a website for the company.
