Trysilelva Camping’s sauna sits right on the riverbank of the Trysilelva, offering a fantastic view of Trysilfjellet and the river below. The wood-fired sauna is open to campsite guests, Trysil visitors, and locals alike, making it a welcoming spot for anyone exploring the region.
The Experience
The sauna has room for 8-10 people and is heated by a wood-burning stove. Firewood is provided to maintain the temperature throughout your session. When you book, the sauna and ice hole are reserved exclusively for your group.
After warming up, descend a ladder into the Trysilelva river for an invigorating cold dip. The contrast between the wood-fired heat and the cold river water is the essence of Norwegian outdoor sauna culture.
